Practice Distinguishing Graphs

This exercise is practice I gave my students that is motivated by one of tasks in this oldie, but goodie research article, by Lillian C. McDermott, Mark L. Rosenquist, and Emily H. van Zee, 1986.

You can ask students to do lots of other things with these as well. I asked students to make the velocity graph for cart 1, and the position graph for cart 2.
